Dot. is a service for queer women aged 19 or older. To keep the space safe, sign-up includes identity verification and an eligibility check.
No. Your real name, phone number, and other details used for identity verification are never shown to other members. Your profile shows only what you add yourself.
No. FACE verification is optional. You can verify once your profile has at least one clear photo of your face. Once approved, your FACE badge appears, and you can use the core features without verifying.
A LIKE shows someone you're interested. When you LIKE each other, you're matched and can start chatting.
A dot message lets you reach out first with a short message before matching. If the other person responds, you can start a conversation.
Yes. Posts and comments do not show your profile nickname or account details. However, when it is needed to handle a report or protect members, the Dot. team can identify the author.
No. Your exact location and address are never shown — only an approximate distance. If you would rather not show distance, turn off "Show distance info" in the Profile tab.
Try the "Hide from contacts" feature. It uses your contacts to reduce the chance of running into people you know. It cannot completely prevent every acquaintance from seeing you, though.
You can report or block from profiles, chats, and the community.
Reporting someone from a profile or chat blocks them automatically, and the Dot. team aims to complete a first review of the report within 24 hours.
You can also report photos or conversations that were shared without consent.
Yes. Matching, chat, the community, and other core features are free. Dot. shows no ads, even to free members.

Go to Settings → Login & Security → Delete account to request deletion yourself.
Within 7 days of your request, sign back in and tap "Cancel deletion" to cancel. Once 7 days have passed and your account is permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered.
Removing the app does not delete your account. If you have a paid subscription, you also need to cancel it separately in the App Store or Google Play.
For a first meeting, we recommend a busy place. Be careful about sharing personal information such as your address or contact details, and watch out for requests for money.
If helpful, tell someone you trust where and when you are meeting. If you are in danger, contact the police or other authorities first, before reporting in the app.
